Make it Rayne with the latest Layers blog theme

Rayne is a beautiful Blog Theme for Layers that was originally produced by the team at Bright Levels and launched on Themeforest.

Rayne, a WordPress Blog Theme for Layers, was originally produced by Joel Bohorquez and launched on Themeforest. However we noticed recently that it was no longer listed which made us sad. So we quickly got in touch with their team and acquired the theme.

Beautiful Design

Make your blog beautiful with Rayne

What immediately attracted us to Rayne was the beautiful design of a single post page. We love the large post header and well structured typography.

Not only that but the social media share buttons at the bottom of each post are a welcome addition that we hope to soon integrate in all Layers themes!

New Instagram Widget

Include an Instagram feed to the bottom of your site with a just a few clicks.

A pattern that’s emerging with our recent themes is at least one feature that’s unique to that template. Rayne is no different as we launch a new Instagram widget that is without doubt the easiest thing on the planet to use.

All you got to do is enter in your username and Layers will automatically output a feed of your latest photos in the footer of your site. Oh and it also works in the regular blog / page sidebar area.

We are hoping to build this widget into Layers Pro in the near future, so stay tuned on that.

Demo and Purchase

You can take a look at the Rayne demo here or head over to the Layers marketplace and purchase Rayne right away. As always we have a $10 discount launch special!

Love this. Think it’s time for a new blog design… This fits right in.

Looks nice. How was the full screen parallax effect achieved on the services page? (http://sites.layerswp.com/rayne/services/)

Hey Mike

That’s a setting available in Layer Pro

There’s a built in “Parallax” option in the background settings for the slider widget.

I really like the new Instagram Widget you have developed for your newer themes, I was wondering if you plan on adding it to the base Layers theme or even Layers Pro? Is there a way to duplicate in my own Layers Child Theme?
